ABOUT ME
A Passion for all Mediums
My name is Amy Davila, enrolled in Gila River Indian Community rooted in District 4 - Goodyear Village but currently reside in District 7 with my Grandmother and Daughter. I took the long route to realize my passion and career choice was not only possible but that I would develop an almost obsessive passion to visual art and communications.
As a young girl I remember being fascinated by writing and practicing my handwriting, at the time I didn't think it was possible to find a career that focused on Type and Design. I am also a fan of music of all genres, dance and visual arts of all types. Photography was my first practiced visual art form however I have studied and practiced most art forms (painting, drawing, digital art, photography, videography and graphic design, etc.).
As a fan of change be it in life or work, I find it as an opportunity to start fresh, create something new and feel a huge sense of accomplishment once a project is completed and delivered. I enjoy learning new skills, and using my resources to research new and innovative ideas on how to communicate to our communities creatively.
